Hanna Sahar
Hanna Sahar (b. 1966, Tel Aviv) is a prominent member of the mid-generation of Israeli photography. Her works encompass a wide range of subjects – portraits, landscapes and celestial views. Many of her images enhance a non-realistic and magical quality. In 2009 Sahar began working on the series Ashlon Beauty, which captures portraits of women of Iraqi decent. In another series, Sahar attends to images of celestial visions. Sahar has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions in Israel and abroad. Her works are in leading museums and private collections.
