Eitan Ben Moshe (b. 1971, Israel) is a sculptor and multi-disciplinarian artist whose works fuse seemingly opposing materials and ideas – readymade with traditional sculpting materials, organic with industrial and glitzy with dull. Ben Moshe’s unique aesthetic language generates an attraction-repulsion relation with viewers, and often also with the spaces in which the works are in. Ben Moshe’s outdoor sculptures react to their surroundings by causing disturbances, while his indoor pieces destabilize the concept of “beauty” as a social construct. Ben Moshe is a graduate of the Bezalel Art Academy, Jerusalem. Since 2003 has been showing his work in solo exhibitions in galleries and museums in Israel and abroad.
