Oran Hoffman

Oran Hoffmann (b. 1980, Israel) is a photographer whose work centers on photography’s double vision: looking at the photographed object, and looking at the photograph itself. In his works Hoffmann creates architectonic spaces that present relation of form and color both between the captured objects themselves and between them and the space in which they are present. The colors, shapes and compositions of his images seem to resist concepts of time, lending them a timeless dimension. Hoffmann lives and works in Tel Aviv and Amsterdam. He has received prizes and grants and has had solo and group exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
